Mosasaur Teeth

Mosasaurs were a group of large, predatory marine reptiles that lived during the Late Cretaceous period, approximately 70 to 66 million years ago. They were not dinosaurs, but rather a type of marine lizard that evolved from land-dwelling ancestors. Mosasaurs were well-adapted to life in the ocean, with streamlined bodies, powerful tails, and flippers for propulsion. They ranged in size from small, dolphin-like species to giants over 50 feet (15 meters) long, such as Mosasaurus hoffmannii. Mosasaurs were apex predators of their time, preying on fish, squid, and other marine reptiles. They had sharp teeth and strong jaws for capturing and eating their prey.
