Selenite

Selenite is a crystalline form of gypsum, a hydrated calcium sulfate mineral. It is known for its distinctive pearly or satiny luster and translucent to transparent appearance. Selenite crystals typically form as tabular, bladed, or prismatic crystals with striations along their length.
